Business Plan

This business plan has been developed by Centrecare in consultation with the Ministerial Council for Suicide Prevention and the Mental Health Commission. It reflects the approach proposed by Centrecare to its role in supporting the implementation of the Western Australian Suicide Prevention Strategy 2009-2013.

This business plan is prepared as a requirement of a Service Agreement (C053991) completed between the Government of Western Australia (The Minister for Mental Health) as Principal and Centrecare. The document builds from the capability and approach outlined by Centrecare in response to an Expression of Interest conducted to select a preferred provider to assist the Ministerial Council for Suicide Prevention with the implementation of the Strategy.

The plan details operational arrangements to support the success of the initiative and confirms the continuing role of the Ministerial Council for Suicide Prevention in the strategic direction of the initiative, the expectations of Government and the Mental Health Commission and the role and responsibilities of Centrecare as the partner provider of services.

The plan will be adjusted on a rolling annual basis to reflect the priorities, strategies and focus of a 3 year strategic plan to be developed and maintained by the Ministerial Council for Suicide Prevention.
