WA State Suicide Prevention Plan

In response to a request from the Minister for Health for the development of a 'whole of government and community' State Plan for Suicide Prevention, the Ministerial Council for Suicide Prevention (MCSP) has now completed a consultation process to establish a framework for action to reduce the occurrence and impact of suicide within Western Australia over the next five years.

The MCSP in partnership with the Department of Health's Mental Health Network (MHN) organised a series of community forums across the State. These forums were designed to obtain feedback and further input from consumers, carers, service providers and other stakeholders to support the planning process.
